Environmental Sustainability
The аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø has been making great strides towards reducing the environmental impact of campus operations and activities. From incorporating sustainability into procurement to supporting staff and student-led projects, our sustainable practices and policies are building up across the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø.
We work with the Hertfordshire & Middlesex Wildlife Trust to identify and improve existing habitats across our Hawkshead Campus and enhance the habitats.

The аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø and its Charitable Statuses
The аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø is an exempt charity. It is subject to the legal rules applicable to charities under English Law and to the general provisions of the Charities Acts.
Its principle regulatory body is the Office for Students, who ensure all obligations are fulfilled under charity law.

The аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø also has an independent registered Charity – The аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Animal Care Trust that is registered under the Charities Commission. (Reg no 281571).
Its objects support The аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø's wide range of clinical, research and educational activities aimed at improving animal health and care for the public benefit.
